Kerz Innenausbau GmbH - Tradition meets modernity: EU support for modern compressor technology

‘We used the subsidy for our joinery to replace a classic screw compressor in our furniture production line with a speed-controlled version. The old compressor consumes around 8,500 kWh of electricity per year. According to the first measurements we carried out between October and December 2024, we now have an annualised consumption of less than 5,000 kWh, which corresponds to an energy saving of over 40 ‘A great result,’ says Managing Director Christoph Kerz happily.
To further reduce energy consumption, the company carried out a series of leakage tests in addition to the measurements in order to identify leaks in the compressed air system along the entire production line and take standard measures to reduce these leaks.
For more than 20 years, Kerz has been offering a wide variety of different shapes and sizes far beyond the borders of Aachen. Whether wine rack, meeting table or wardrobe. Whether kitchen, shop or practice furnishings. From personal dialogue to the finished room. Whether customised shopfitting, a perfectly fitted walk-in wardrobe, your own library or furniture for bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms: Kerz uses digital technology and traditional craftsmanship to produce everything from simple furniture to complex projects and individual interior design for private and commercial use.
